My Biography:
I am a fatherless widow with a son, 15 1/2 years of age. My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer when I was 9 months pregnant with our first and only child. Several people asked me how I endured taking care of my husband and son, simultaneously, for 3 years. I put my feelings in a poem, entitled "WOMEN", and received a copyright on it in 2001. My Paralegal Certificate, Graduate Certificate and MS Human Services, Criminal Justice were all acquired subsequent to widowhood.
