Program Trader
Robert W. Baird & Co. is seeking a Program Trader. The position will be responsible for actively trading domestic equity baskets utilizing industry leading EMS and algorithmic solutions. The candidate should be a team player that is able to cultivate client relationships. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of program trading experience on either the buy-side or sell-side. Strong relationships and Series 7, 55 & 63 registrations are a plus but not requirement. Non-registered hires will be required to attain the Series 7, 55 & 63. Candidates will have a solid working knowledge of quantitatively based trading strategies. This newly created trading desk can be managed from Baird's home office in Milwaukee, WI or from its regional office in Stamford, CT. Compensation is 100% cash divided between a base salary and a year-end bonus payment. Baird is a privately-held and employee-owned firm, with a broad-based ownership structure
