The Marketing & Events Specialist for Mammotome is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution and management of physician education events, advisory board meetings, product spotlight events, physician speaking events, webinars, centers of excellence training events, and product user meetings.
This position is part of the Americas Marketing and Product Education team located in Cincinnati, Ohio and will be on-site. At Mammotome, our passion is driving innovative technologies that create efficiencies, while never forgetting that at the heart of every breast cancer journey is a patient.
You will be a part of the Americas Marketing and Product Education team and report to the Director, Americas Marketing and Education responsible for driving the event planning process through all departments and at all levels of management, delivering end-to-end, integrated event experiences, including identifying goals and objectives, measuring metrics for return on investment, and handling budgets. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Education to plan, coordinate and help run all physician education events, advisory board meetings and user meetings acting as both the event planner and project coordinator to ensure successful execution.
Provide HCP documentation and Sunshine act reporting.
Create standard work, processes and systems for all professional educational events including working closely with the Product Managers and Sales reps to ensure the content that is presented regarding their specific products and therapies is accurately represented by the teaching physicians
Analyze the results and success of various events and utilize findings to develop and to implement recommendations for continuous improvement
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors Degree with 2 yrs experience or two year degree with 4 yrs experience in Marketing, Communications, Education, Training, or related field required, or equivalent experience.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Up to 40% travel will be required for on-site event coordination and support with certain seasons having higher travel needs than others (Spring season - 40%), (Winter / Fall - approx. 25 - 30%, Summer - minimal)
Overnight domestic and international trips ranging from 1-7 days
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Sonography / Ultrasound knowledge
Prior experience with professional physician education coordination or medical advisory boards
Event planning experience
The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
