Ledgent Technology is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer on behalf of our client in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a 90-day contract-to-hire opportunity where you will be responsible for maintaining websites and developing custom applications to meet the specific needs of the organization. Your work will focus on ensuring that websites are user-friendly, visually appealing, and secure. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and an excellent communicator. Ultimately, you will be instrumental in maintaining the functionality, security, and efficiency of the web infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Develop functional and user-friendly websites and web applications.Test websites across various browsers, operating systems, and devices to ensure compatibility and performance.Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot hosting platforms, including Inmotion Hosting, GoDaddy, or WPEngine.Ensure website security, including secure login pages.Optimize website loading speeds and capacity to enhance user experience.Debug issues such as broken links, images, or plugin compatibility.Update and improve website content while enhancing SEO performance.Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, such as traffic and conversions.Oversee projects from conception to deployment, ensuring a seamless process.Possess a deep understanding of the entire web development lifecycle, including design, development, and deployment.Create and manage API connections to facilitate seamless data exchange between different systems.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.3+ years of proven experience using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Proficiency in any front-end framework.5+ years of proven experience with WordPress, PHP, and MySQL.3+ years of proven experience with Laravel.Solid understanding of API integration and protocols for connecting software and services.Experience using GitHub is a plus.Desired but not required: experience with ClickFunnels as a page builder.Preferred but not required: experience with Shopify as an eCommerce platform.If you're a motivated Full-Stack Web Developer looking for an opportunity to grow and make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.
