Title:
KBR is seeking a highly qualified Contract Manager to support our customer in Chantilly, VA. GED delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable to plan and execute intelligence-gathering missions from NRO overhead systems and process the resulting collected data into useful information distributed to IC and DoD users.
The Contracts Manager will provide support to contracts/ and related business processes throughout all stages of the contract management life cycle. Must be able to work independently and function effectively as part of a team and interact with people from junior to senior levels. Should have experience meeting deadlines, and prioritizing contracts related items across large organizations.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Assist the Government in establishing high-level contract strategy and driving implementation of strategic contract opportunities
Domain knowledge and expertise for the system engineering of multiple interrelated large system acquisitions; Special focus areas include Cloud Services, Software Services Platform; Development Security Operations (DevSecOps), Data Centricity and management, Data Management, Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), working across organizational and system boundaries (internal and external) and enterprise governance
Champion contract policy and procedure revision and improvement
Understand the business cases and have an appreciation of financial/analytical issues.
Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and policies
Manage contract change control process and support bid review and proposal requests
Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiations on complex contractual issues
Correspond with Government and developers regarding contract status, requests for additional information, etc.
Author, edit and package complex requests for proposals (RFP)
Perform pre-Acquisition, Acquisition Execution and Acquisition Strategy tasks
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of relative experiences
Bachelor's Degree
DAWIA level I or II desired
COTR Experience desired
TS/SCI with CI poly
