• Edits large volumes of in-game text for first-, second-, and third-party titles for accurate grammar, spelling, and style
• Reviews and makes editing recommendations to localization writers for character voice, consistency, and context
• Leads editing of small-scale projects and reports progress to lead localization editor
• Assists localization editors in managing text review of large-scale projects, as assigned
• Edits marketing material, game summaries, manual and package copy, web text and notifications, and other materials
• Maintains consistent style for all customer-facing text by complying with general reference materials, company-specific style guides, and game-specific style guides
• Researches franchise history and fact-checks content
• Up to 10% domestic and international travel
• Minimum of two years related experience or professional editing certification
• Excellent grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills
• Acute attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work cooperatively and maintain quality in stressful situations
• Ability to communicate editorial changes constructively and professionally
• Undergraduate degree in English or equivalent experience
• Valid passport required
