This position provides case management of disability and workers’ compensation cases. Services will be performed in conjuction with the customer location in Decatur, Alabama.   *PARTIAL HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT - WORK FROM HOME (WFH)  WITH ONSITE SCHEDULING BASED ON CLIENT NEEDS. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY WORKWEEK - NO WEEKENDS NO HOLIDAYS*   Key Responsibilities: Serves as liaison between injured/disabled workers, medical providers, claims examiners and employer designees for coordination of care needs and return to work planning consistent with provider recommendations and employer policies Monitors case treatment plans, benchmark guidelines, outcomes, and barriers, and make recommendations to facilitate case management goals to minimize lost work time Proactively manages all assigned cases to assess progress/response to treatment, prevent lapses or delays in treatment, obtain regular updates on work status and facilitates a return to work plan for injured/disabled workers Understands and able to communicate a basic overview of Alabama Workers’ Compensation processes and basic OSHA regulations as it pertains to the recordkeeping needs of the employer Understands and able to communicate overview of disability benefits plans, employer-offered health and wellness resources and potential community resources Communicates with employer designees to provide information needed for absence time tracking Other duties as necessary   To be qualified for this position, you must meet these minimum requirements: Education / Credentials: Associate Degree in Nursing Registered Nurse with valid Alabama licensure Experience: Minimum 1 year occupational health case management experience Strong clinical background in occupational health setting may be acceptable in lieu of case management experience Required Skills: Basic knowledge of Alabama Workers’ Compensation processes, short/long-term disability leaves, FMLA, ADAAA and ODG guidelines Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills across varying professional levels (patients/employees, physicians, clinical team, company contacts, senior leadership) Strong computer skills –working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), ability to effectively toggle between multiple systems/programs to obtain information Well organized with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail Adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines Self-starter, able to work independently as well as with others TRIHEALTH VIDEO Job Title:  Registered Nurse, Occupational Nurse Case Manager (Hybrid Work Environment) *Monday-Friday Work Department Name:  TRIS EMPLOYEE HEALTH Location:  Other Hourly/Salaried:  Salaried Employment Status: Full Time Position Bi-Weekly Hours:80 Shift: Day Shift Weekend Commitment:  No Holiday Commitment:  No On-Call Commitment:  No Share | Contact Information Company Name: TriHealth Website: https://careers.trihealth.com/job/Decatur-Registered-Nurse%2C-Occupational-Nurse-Case-Manager-AL-35601/815553200/ Company Description: Please visit our employer showcase!
