Job Description

The Payments College within Visa University is seeking a Director-level Product Manager to lead the successful expansion and evolution of our Digital Learning Library product. In this role you will lead the effort to drive the reach, consumption, features, and overall success of this product.

 

In this role you will work with key stakeholders inside and outside of Visa University to evolve the strategy of the Digital Learning Library. You will work to optimize and evolve the product feature set, assist in alignment of content to learner needs, and drive uptake and consumption by our learners.

 

Key Functions

As Product Manager, Digital Learning Library you will be responsible for overall success of the Digital Learning Library subscription. This encompasses all product management-related responsibilities and functions for this product and its derivatives. This includes the following responsibilities and functions.

 

  • Collaborate with the Head of Payments College Product and other key stakeholders to develop the overall product strategy, prioritized feature roadmap, and maturity plan for the Digital Learning Library subscription offerings and related products.

  • Conduct discovery research on current and potential features, tools, customer needs, and cohort offerings. Share insights and recommendations with product team and key stakeholders.

  • As business owner, collaborate with IT teams to create clear business and functional requirements. Work closely with IT teams to successfully deliver on prioritized features and functionality and integrate them into the product. 

  • Develop and communicate benefits, positioning, and sales strategies to sales and account teams. Act as an expert resource for large sales opportunities.

  • Monitor the success of the Digital Learning Library products. Be accountable and responsibility for product success.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with stakeholders, team members, vendors/contractors to drive the product vision, review progress, direct the flow of work, and consistently provide a clear product vision.

  • Collaborate with product, operations, marketing, and sales counterparts on the development of plans for product launch and ongoing promotion, and provide them with the product information needed to enable successful and on-time execution of deliverables.

  • Work with supporting teams to problem-solve, overcome roadblocks, and create solutions to common issues.

  • Create a strategy to drive customer success and work with supporting teams to execute the strategy. Monitor and improve customer success strategy on an ongoing basis.

  • Define, monitor, and analyze subscription product KPIs and provide reports to management and other stakeholders.

 

Experience

  • A track-record of successful senior-level product management within an enterprise-level learning organization.

  • Management of products intended for commercial consumption (E.g client/customer learners).

  • Leadership driving digital transformation of learning products and assets.

  • Business-level leadership driving the evolution of technical features related to learning delivery technologies and systems.

  • Experience building, evolving, and driving subscription products (learning subscriptions preferable).

 

This position is open to candidates in Foster City, CA (highly preferred), Denver, CO (Highlands Ranch), and Lehu, UT.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
University Recruiting: MBA/PhD without experience.

COLORADO APPLICANTS ONLY: This position has a minimum base salary of 109,800 USD and a midpoint base salary of 142,800 USD. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible for annual bonus and equity.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
