Senior Software Engineer
Sage is looking for a highly motivated technology expert to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer at Sage, you will work on many projects with varying responsibilities. We need experienced engineers with proven leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for software development and engineering best practices. We are seeking strong team players who thrive on innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, deliver and maintain high quality technical solutions.
• Take technical ownership of functions/features or services as defined by the development team, participating in all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to software development best practices, standards, and processes.
• Continuously strive to make improvements to existing products, systems and services.
• Collaborate with, energize and mentor other team members to achieve team and business goals.

Technical Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, Master’s degree a plus.
• 5+ years software engineering.
• Experience with building modern user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Micro-services architecture, domain driven design and modern APIs.
• Working knowledge of various Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, continuous integration, and test automation.
• Experience with Container tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Knowledge and experience with one or more Agile development practices.
