Job Description

We are looking for a sales professional that will be responsible for generating revenue through renewals, up-selling and the closing of maintenance contracts for existing Sage customers with an assigned region or set of accounts. The sales are primarily handled via phone and/or online. You will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction on assigned accounts. We like our conversations to be open-ended and address the general business needs of the customer and how they can expand the benefit from maintenance contracts. The qualified candidate will demonstrate broad and deep knowledge of Sage products and maintenance contract offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements
• Achieve and/or exceed all sales targets
• Placing outbound calls (not on auto-dialer) to existing customers within an assigned region or set of accounts to build relationship, determine needs for renewals, upsell or cross sell opportunities
• Manage customer relationships by reviewing customer account data to ensure accounts are maintained correctly and determine possible recommendations for other products and service
• Work closely with Partner Channel to service customer account relationship to drive customer satisfaction results
• Process customer orders for renewals, upgrades or maintenance contracts
• Serve as partner advocate in assisting customer with any requested need and/or refer them to the appropriate area for resolution
• Prioritize and manage sales leads and account management records to maximize revenue generation
• Manage complex sales cycle across multiple stages through consultative sales process, ensuring diligent record keeping, precise follow up, and business transformation guidance are achieved
• Monitor KPIs to ensure sales activity and pipeline funnel are in accordance with achieving revenue targets
• Report effective and accurately on all pipeline and sales activity metrics including monthly revenue forecast projections
• Maintain excellent levels of product knowledge and be able to effectively demo Sage's cloud solutions to accountants
• Schedule and monitor post-sale onboarding session for new accountant signups to ensure successful completion of the setup process
• Liaison with marketing to feed into promotional activity and provide feedback on success of campaigns
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years accounting experience
• Experience in an outbound call center selling environment
• Business to business sales experience
• Computer skills
• Software selling experience
