CSU San Marcos Seeks Faculty in Biological Sciences, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science!

The College of Science and Mathematics at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) is pleased to invite applications for 3 tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor in the fields of Biological Sciences, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science and Information Systems. Candidates must be committed to contributing to an undergraduate-centered, pedagogically innovative, degree program. The expected starting date will be August 25, 2020. Candidates with industry experience are encouraged to apply.
Biological Sciences: All sub-divisions of animal physiology will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
Electrical Engineering: Applications from contemporary areas of research are welcome, including Signal and Image Processing, Power and Renewable Energies, Analog and Digital Integrated Circuits Design, RF and Communication Circuits and Systems, Control and Robotics, etc.
Computer Science and Information Systems: Priority will be given to applicants who specialize in data science, cloud computing, robotics, mobile computing, and computer information systems. However, outstanding candidates from other areas within the field of computer science may also be considered.
The University is particularly interested in applicants who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for under-represented groups.
